Technical Information
A.I.C. Technology
AIC (Advanced Impact Composite), an impact-absorbing intelligent material conceived through 30 months of development and testing. In plain language this means the impact load generated by a 100 MPH ball is reduced to the equivalent of being struck with a 40 MPH ball, thus, drastically reducing the chance of a career threatening injury.
A.I.C. protection on the outside of the hand & wrist protects the vulnerable small bones not protected by a traditional glove. Offering superior protection without compromising fit, comfort or flexibility.
A.I.C. protection on the inner wrist area effectively doubles the amount of impact load absorption in the critical wrist joint area providing protection without affecting fit or flexibility.
Impact testing conducted by the Materials Engineering lab at a California State University shows the significant difference in impact load absorption provided by the A.I.C. Protection.
